Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween

Halloween has enjoyed a recent popularity resurgence in Australia, with school fetes, house decorations, and trick or treating through local streets. It’s also a great excuse for a party, so on October 31, why not join in the festivities, especially if you have kids!

  • Decorate the house inside and out (use streamers, fake creepy crawlies and lanterns – discount shops should have a great selection for cheap prices).
  • Carve Jack O’Lanterns out of pumpkins, and put candles inside to glow eerily.
  • Host a murder mystery or a masquerade party – this is a great way to celebrate Halloween with just adults.
  • Get the neighbours together for a Halloween street party. Have a competition to see which house looks the scariest!
  • Organise a Halloween treasure hunt in the back garden for the little tikes.
  • If the kids want to trick or treat, make sure they’re accompanied by an adult. Go early in the evening, and stick together.
  • Click hereto invite your friends to a Halloween party. Spooky!
