Dust off the picnic rug

Spring has sprung, so why not get out and smell the daffodils? What better way to enjoy catching up with friends than over a picnic. Here are some tips to ensure your picnic is as enjoyable and easy as possible:
-
- Invest in a waterproof-backed rug and picnic basket or trolley with all the utensils you need in one easy place.
- Cooler bags with ice packs will keep everything fresh and tasty for longer.
- A selection of yummy dips can be used on crackers, as a spread in rolls (you can’t go wrong with Copperpot’s Red Peppers with Onion & Tomato warm dip, or try their Mexican Bean with Onion & Tomato warm dip in easy tortilla wraps).
- Baby wipes are a great idea for cleaning hands and mopping up spills.
- Take plenty of water, sunscreen and insect repellent.
- Don’t forget the corkscrew or bottle opener – very important for those beers and chilled white wines (if they’re not screw-tops).
