Overdue for a catch-up with the girls? Then organise a Girls Night In (GNI). During the month of October each year, women are encouraged to spend a night in with their girlfriends, and then donate the money they would've spent on a night out to the Cancer Council. The event raises vital funds to fight women's cancers.

• To register to host a Girls Night In (it can take the form of a movie night, cocktails and gossip, a pamper session, whatever you like!), head to the official GNI site, and you can also join the Facebook group.
• Invite your friends to your Girls Night In event using one of our gorgeously girly Girls Night In e-invites. It's a great cause and a great excuse for a girly get-together!
