TUTORIAL: HOW TO CREATE YOUR OWN PHOTO INVITE

Creating your own photo invite is easy. Its’ such a great way to personalise your invite with a fun photo of the guest of honour. Here’s a step-by-step tutorial that you can follow. We have over 80 backgrounds to choose from, so you are bound to find a background that is perfect for you.

Once you have logged in or created your free account;

STEP 1: From the main navigation, under INVITES, choose CREATE YOUR OWN (Or you can just click here)



STEP 2: Choose your background design. There are around 80 background invitation designs (5 pages) to choose from.


STEP 3: Fill in all of your event details, then upload your photo. Remember to follow the guidelines when choosing your photo, it must meet the following specifications:

Be a jpg, gif or png file
Be a square shape: Minimum dimensions: 320x320px, maximum dimensions 1,000 x 1,000px
Be a maximum file size of 1.2MB

Note: If you’re photo isn’t quite right, you can use this super simple free site to resize and/or reformat your picture before uploading it: www.picresize.com


STEP 4: Create your Guest List via their email addresses, as you would for a normal e-invite. You can do this manually by typing or cutting and pasting the addresses in, via your address book if you have used myinvites.com.au before, or you can upload addresses from another Address Book using our import tool from CloudSponge.


Note: On this screen, you will not see all of your event details (as pictured above). You can easily check your event details as they will appear to your guests by clicking on the PREVIEW BUTTON. This will take you to the draft event page – See below for an example of what your invite will look like on your event page:


Your guests can RSVP and comment directly on this event page so you can keep track of things easily.

Once you have added in your event details and created your guest list, the process is the same as sending one of our usual e-invites. You’ll need to go through the checkout ($17.95 per event, payable via Credit Card or PayPal) and then your invites will be sent!

Remember that you can send reminders, check your RSVP’s and guest comments via your Dashboard once you have created your invite.
