When hosting a baby shower it is important to have a theme in mind that can become the centre for your invitations, decorations and food.
* Colour themes such as green, orange or yellow and wonderful neutral colours that can be combined or used separately. For a boy, shades of blue, white and purple look great together and you can purchase abundant supplies of baby merchandise in these colours that could be used to decorate and enhance your theme. For a girl, you can’t go past shades of pink and white.
Remember you theme might also depend on the time of day you wish to have your shower. Will it be a morning tea or brunch, a late lunch or an afternoon tea? The time will also dictate the menu you serve to your guests on the day so take this into consideration when deciding on your shower theme.
